Beyonce' said Say My Name, Say My Name but I would rather Say their names: Amadou Diallo, Sandra Bland, Breonna Taylor, Botham Jean, Sonya Massey, DeMartravion Reed and  George Floyd,

All victims of modern day lynchings solely because of the color of their skin which led them all to a fate of which they could never avoid.

To the victims families states pay hefty fines and award million dollar law suits,

Simply because racist or unhinged law enforcement officials use force that is unusually brute.

Police body cam and everyday citizens capturing unwarranted horrific ordeals,

At routine traffic stops or wellbeing checks

Black people are recipients of overwhelming kills.

Legislators instituting more laws like hate crimes and concerned citizens marching and protesting do little to quell their hunger,

Because they are hate filled demon possessed domestic terrorist warmongers.

It wasn't that long ago that Lady Day sang about 'Strange Fruit blood on the leaves and blood at the root.'

Some people only hear the rhythm and don't heed the lyrics so it does nothing to their spirit but when they see the murderous algorithm of the boys in blue in their social media feed,

They try to shake it off as it being people who are not obeying those in the lead.

But that's not always the truth and even if a certain segment of society thinks that's the truth of the matter...

Then don't they think there would be more than black blood being splattered.
